The "Made in America" Trump phone is just a reskinned HTC U24 built in China

The true irony here is what the article refused to print: that neither this phone nor the company behind it has any association with President Trump. It does with Eric Trump -- but when Biden's son Hunter was taking bribes from around the world, money laundering and cheating on his taxes, banging his own brother's wife while said brother was dying of cancer, and having East-European prostitutes take naked photos of him smoking a crack pipe and passing out in his own vomit, everyone said, "who cares? It's not Joe!".

Holy hell, inflation is NOT down it has only gone up under Trump 2.0
Once again you've fallen for disinformation. Inflation is down markedly ... even if we don't consider the 9.1% inflation Biden hit in mid-2022.

The first 7 months of this graph are in 2024. I'll let you Google who was President then:

The most interesting part of this graph isn't the drop in inflation itself, but the missing data for Oct 2025: caused by Schumer's government shutdown over his demand for trillions in new spending ... an act that, had it passed, would have triggered another inflation spike.

You can't change reality by denying it, just as you can't change a man into a woman by closing your eyes and wishing hard. Biden took inflation from 1.1% to 9.1% in record time. What is it today?

"In May 2026, the U.S. annual core inflation rate was 2.9% year-over-year... On a monthly basis, core consumer prices rose a modest 0.2%, slightly below expectations and down from the 0.4% advance seen in April...."

To be fair, way better than I expected.
A product is actually shipped, the product is actually decent for the price.
Saw the Snazzy Labs video on it a couple of days ago.

Aside from the atrocious yellow not looking like gold it's actually a decent buy.
Makes a lot more sense getting this than a Trump bible, huge success story compared to Trump steaks ;).

Just buy the HTC U24 and youll avoid the branding lol

This literally made me laugh aloud. Those are hard government figures, not fairy dust. Inflation is down, period. End of discussion.

In his book 1984, George Orwell called your affliction DoubleThink: the ability of Leftists to believe in and promulgate absurdly contradictory positions, in order to show their loyalty to the cause.

No, they work like the graph I posted above, which shows how much inflation has dropped under the Trump Administration.

The true irony here are the economic illiterates who never learned the sole reason for inflation is expansion of the M2 money supply, through the agency of government deficit spending. Last year, had we acceded to the DNC's demands for trillions in new government spending, then inflation would have spiked indeed.

Going by the Snazzylabs video support with the Trump phone is super friendly (and no heavy accent) and going by this article the phone itself is cheaper.
That's why I'm surprised - it actually seems decent.

I'll stick to my ancient Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S with a third party ROM for another few years

That’s not how inflation is modeled in actual macroeconomics. M2 is one input, not the sole driver, and its relationship with inflation is inconsistent depending on velocity, demand conditions, and monetary policy.

If inflation were “solely M2,” you wouldn’t see major divergence between money supply growth and inflation during different periods. The relationship is not 1:1 or deterministic.

Deficit spending also doesn’t automatically translate into inflation. it depends on output gap, supply conditions, and whether monetary policy offsets it. That’s standard macro, not ideology.

I get that, enjoy the Xiami, I wish I could enjoy devices like that.

For short-run inflation, correct. Not long-run inflation.

Nor does this have anything to do with your original false claim. Inflation is down markedly under the Trump Administration. I know this is a painful fact for you to face, but my best advice is to accept it and move on, just as tearing off a bandage quickly is less painful in the end.

You’re treating one YoY snapshot as the entire definition of inflation being “up or down,” while ignoring short-term movement and the broader curve. Those aren’t interchangeable, and swapping between them is what’s driving this disagreement. That’s not a consistent way to read the data

If I was paying you to make my argument for me with these nonsensical word salads, you couldn't do a better job. This is over two full years of data (more than 3 years if you count the the initial datapoint is YoY-adjusted. You can't deny the trend here, nor pass it off as some "blip":

Core-Inflation2.jpg

Please explain how you contorted this data into the belief that inflation is "way up" since Trump took office.

You’re upgrading my position into “inflation is way up / uncontrollably rising” and arguing against that, but that’s not what I said. My point is that your framing of “inflation and prices are down” is flawed, prices are still higher than before, and while inflation has come down from its peak, it’s also been ticking up month-to-month in recent readings, so it’s not accurate to present it as simply “down.” I’m not going to keep going in circles on framing.

Do you understand how economics works? If inflation goes from 10% to 1%, it went down… but, prices still go up - it’s called INFLATION for a reason. As long as it’s above 0, prices rise… which is GOOD, as otherwise it means your economy is shrinking - which is BAD.

6/17/2026 1:49 PM "Holy hell, inflation is NOT down it has only gone up under Trump 2.0" (link here)

The statement was false. Own it and move on.

inflation ...has been been ticking up month-to-month in recent readings
Sorry, no. Core inflation continues to descend. The more volatile index that includes energy prices ticked up the last couple of months, thanks to the Iran War -- but with oil and gas prices down 20% in the last three weeks, you can kiss that brief blip goodbye too.

You mean like the Biden White House approving a pre-dawn raid on Trump's personal home, with more heavily-armed agents than were sent to take down Bin Laden? And after first pre-notifying CNN so they could be on hand to cover the raid for maximum political effect?
Dude - you really have bought all the lies.
Lets just take one point here to keep things manageable. There was no raid, it was a search which was conducted and it was Donald that invited the press.
It is Trump that called it a raid which he did for political effect and lets not forget what was found, not to mention the cover up he tried to do.

But since you seem to think Donald can walk on water, do tell how are you with all his corruption, him taking millions from powers in the Middle East, selling pardons to, among many, a convicted drug lord to name just a couple of examples?

Learn what words mean.

"A police raid is an unexpected visit by police or other law enforcement officers, which aims to use the element of surprise to seize evidence or arrest ....."

... do tell how are you with all his corruption, him taking millions from powers in the Middle East
Trump hasn't taken a penny. But please, repeat the long-debunked nonsense that the UAE "gave him a 747".

....selling pardons to, among many, a convicted drug lord to name just a couple of examples?
Why spread absurd disinformation? The pardon of Hernández wasn't "bought". He had long worked with the US CIA -- and the Obama Administration directly -- on anti-narcotic and counter-terrorism operations. He was only prosecuted when a Left-wing government took charge in Honduras, and demanded his prosecution by the DOJ as terms for continued cooperation.

This has got to be a joke, right? You know he doesn't care about "the poors" right? He likely doesn't know what gasoline smells like since he hasn't pumped fuel into a car in perhaps ever. If you can't afford to spend $2k on a phone every day he doesn't care about your opinion, because you can't do anything for him.
All politicians are like that.

I love our President. I voted for him twice. However, I wouldn't pay more than $50 for any phone, regardless of where it's made. As, as matter of fact I paid $49 plus tax, for my TCL FLIP GO 4058W about 4 yrs ago. It calls and texts, imagine that. :)
Something I've never understood... What exactly is it that you like about him? Is it his white supremacy laced hatred of just about everyone? Or is it his utter lack of a moral compass? Or is it his propensity to abuse women? Or perhaps it's his third grade vocabulary? Or maybe it's his arrogance, mean-spiritedness, and heartless cruelty? From what I've seen, only a bigoted, hateful, arrogant, immoral, vindictive mean-spirited and utterly gullible person would ever see anything in Trump worth admiring. Lie down with dogs, you get up with fleas...

LOL We all know what is implied when the word raid is being thrown around, don't be silly.

As for what Trump has taken, of course it has not been debunked he took the 747. But that is just a fraction, there is the many millions put into his crypto scheme to name just one other thing.

But keep pretending Donald is great, that is what cultist does when challenged by reality - they lie to them self as well as lying to the world because it is easier than to face reality.

You don't get to redefine words because you don't like them. It was a raid, in any and all senses of the word. Stop trying to alter reality.

Stop with the juvenile disinformation. The jet was given to the US DoD, and it will remain govt. property when Trump leaves office.

But that is just a fraction, there is the many millions put into his crypto scheme to name just one other thing.
Cool story. Think anyone will believe it? Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao never gave Trump a penny. His firm -- along with every other cryptocoin vendor in the world -- handles the Trump coin, along with all other crypto. It's an incredibly tenuous connection.
