So, I haven't been to see you lovely people in a long time lol but I need some help again.
My computer seems to have gotten a nice little virus, Im not sure how, but it did. This thing comes up automatically when I try to go to the main screen called ThinkPoint. It says its running a scan, blah, blah blah and then when its life halfway through, it says Database outdated! Cannot go any further until you get the complete full version. I can go to the process and end it, but no programs or anything else show up, it just stays a blank screen.
I tried to start it in safe mode, also and the exact same thing happens. I have no idea what to do and Im at a loss. Help would be much appreciated.
Thank you =]

Let's see, if we can look at your computer booting from an external source.

Please download OTLPE (filesize 120,9 MB)

  • When downloaded double click on OTLPENet.exe and make sure there is a blank CD in your CD drive. This will automatically create a bootable CD.
  • Reboot your system using the boot CD you just created.
    • Note : If you do not know how to set your computer to boot from CD follow the steps here
  • Your system should now display a REATOGO-X-PE desktop.
  • Depending on your type of internet connection, you should be able to get online as well so you can access this topic more easily.
  • Double-click on the OTLPE icon.
  • When asked Do you wish to load the remote registry, select Yes
  • When asked Do you wish to load remote user profile(s) for scanning, select Yes
  • Ensure the box Automatically Load All Remaining Users" is checked and press OK
  • OTL should now start.
  • Press Run Scan to start the scan.
  • When finished, the file will be saved in drive C:\OTL.txt
  • Copy this file to your USB drive if you do not have internet connection on this system
  • Please post the contents of the OTL.txt file in your reply.

I got it so that I can access the main computer menu but I cant go on the internet. When I try to it says the application was launched succesfully but was forced to shut down due to security reasons. And then asks me to download the full version of it again. So I cant even access the internet to download OTLPE. Im using a completely different computer to post this

Okay, so I did a system restore and I can access the internet now. The program is gone also but Im still going to do what you said because I'm not sure if everything is fixed.
