    Touchpad problem

Hi. I don't know about a button to disable the touchpad on a laptop, but there is a free program that will do the same thing, so you can type away, and your arm won't move the cursor around. Try http://code.google.com/p/touchfreeze/

I have three laptop, I solved it by placing a 3X4 Post-It over the touchpad.

If your operating system is Windows 7.

    Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Mouse
    Click on Dell Touchpad tab
Then click on the big brown arrow
