when i start my laptop then a beep sound goes on and this happens until i press any keys like 'enter' or 'esc'. if i dont press any key beep beep sound goes on and following message is displayed:-

i dont know whats the problem and please help.
also while working sometimes automatically my system changes from best of performance view from best of appearance view. i have chosen the option of 'let windows choose what's best for my computer' option in visual effects tab of performance options in advanced tab of system properties. i want to ask why does it change? what's wrong?
i hope both the problems u can understand and help me.

Weird problem.

I've seen TRAP errors in regards to boot loader issues (a problem booting Windows from the hard drive). I don't ever remember pressing Enter or Esc allowing the computer to boot afterward, though... and that defies what I thought this may be.

As for your "let windows choose what's best" problem, I'm unsure... But I wouldn't let Windows choose. You should explicitly select "Best performance" or "Best appearance" based on your preference. It *should* stay.
