Inactive Trojan gen.kryptik removal

Malwarebytes found nearly 1000 files, etc. infected by the trogen gen.kryptik before I stopped the scan. I found some instructions on how to remove it but the first step after starting in safe mode made no sense and could not be completed. Can you help me get rid of this? I am sooooo not computer saavy so detailed instructions would be needed. Thank You.

I attempted to download each of the 3 spyware removal programs as instructed in your 5-step virus removal post. I was unable to download any of them and I'm wondering if this may have something to do with the kryptik trojan on my computer. I already have malwarebytes installed on my computer. Should I run that and then attempt to complete the 5 steps you suggest or should I do something else.

I began to follow the 5 step removal process by downloading and running Avast. It showed 0 infections although Malwarebytes, which I had run before finding your site, showed almost 800. Im not sure how to proceed.

I was mistaken. I had run superantispyware vs malwarebytes as I had previously stated. And just as Ordained said, as I run an updated SAS im not getting anything but tracking cookies. Lots of tracking cookies. So I don't think I need your help with the kryptik trojan. Thank you.
