  1. Hi all.

My PC has been infected with a trojan horse. Although the trojan horse has been removed, I am able to open several applications. For instance, when I want to open the folders in the control panel, the PC will display this message "C:\WINDOWS\system32\rundll32.exe application not found". When I did my registry check, rundll32 was found in system32. Why did the system claim that the application is not available? I cannot open firewall and system restore. When I want to open a program such as firefox and AVG, the PC will display a message "choose the program which you want to use to open this file". It sounds rather silly for me to use firefox to open firefox :)

I had done a system scan with "hijackthis". Please assist me on this.Your assistance rendered is deeply appreciated.

Hi. I have done the first step and I have just installed the TFC. I was asked to install the program which I did and I chose the "recommended" installation and I pressed "i agree". After that, nothing happened to my PC. I didn't see the "start" button. In other words, I don't think my TFC was running at all. I downloaded the TFC from this link: http://download.cnet.com/Temp-File-Cleaner/3000-2094_4-10628816.html

    Please assist. Thank you.

    TFC doesn't install.
Why did you use different link, not ours?
