The other day I D/L'd Coffeecup HTLM Editor V9.6 from their website.
When installing it, my AV-program kicked in to inform me that a Backdoor-type virus with the name "BDS/HaTasi" was "living" in the file ~GLH000B.TMP

    Anybody know about this virus?

The AV-prog quarantained the file and installation went through without a problem.
I sent an email to Coffeecup, but so far no answer.

Which AV program was this? It may very well be a false alarm. It's not impossible. CoffeeCup seems to be pretty trustworthy in my experiences.

On my second install of Win2000 Pro/SP4 I use the free "Antivir", where it found that virus.
Antivir is the free version (I guess) from Vexira, see here:

Funny though, when I also installed the editor in my first Win2000 Pro/SP4 where I use Kaspersky Antivirus, it did not show up.

None of the other AV-programs seems to know about this virus.
