Uh...help with my SONY laptop plz >.<

    Ok first off, this laptop gets laggy and freezez up ALOT, and second, wenever i leave it idle or every otehre restart of the laptop, it disconnects to my internet connection :mad:...Can someone tell me what's wrong with it and how to fix it?

    Sony Intel Pentium Windows Vista dlna latop
    Model: VAIO
    Manufacturer: Sony electronics INc.
    Memory (RAM)L 1014 MB
    System: 32 bit
    It's about 8 months old.

    The onyl hard drive, Local Disk (C:) 53.5 GB free of 105 GB

    it says memory 0.99 GB T2060 @ 1.60 GHZ

    Please help me :[

    freezez and restart means your laptop is over heating. If you have rug at your home then may be your heatsink is full of dust of rug. you need to clear your heat sink according to me. First of all check Event View and see the minidump what it say

    What is the exact model number, and age. How much memory is installed?

    Could be over heating, bad cooling fan, bad memory module, inadequate memory for what work you are doing, plugged air vents by dust and hair, defective power delivery, and a lot of other things.
    Be aware that Sony laptops have a high failure rate, and the problems often start this way.
