Unable to update my windows,antivirus,spyware softwares

Hi all
I m a past member of this site.I tried this site twice when i got maleware and cleaned by our help.Now again my laptop has some virus or malware.I cannot update my windows vista,spyware,windows defender, and other removal tools.When i logon to the update webpage of vista ,windows defender my browser directed to cannot find page.Plz help me in this regard.Now i m using Avast antivirus and shows clean message after online update.but the problem is still same...

Have you tried to update from Safe Mode? Works for me.
