Unknown conflict with NFS Pro Street

Hi...

For several months i've been playing NFS pro street on my system with no problems at all. For a few months its been crashing aprox. 10 seconds after gamelaunch (in the main menu, before entering the game).

Windows present a pop-up that declares that a program caused the crash (program stopped working).

Its in Danish, but i hope someone out there is able to decifer it anyway.

I'm suspekting punkbuster for causing the problem, but after unistalling NFS Pro Street and Punkbuster, clearing the systemregestry and reinstalling NFS Pro Street I end up with the same message. I've patched the game with no improval and updated my graphics-driver.

Can anyone out there point me in the right direction?
