Video problem, might be hardware

    I need help. I have just finished my build today and i tthings have gone very wrong. my computer turns on, off, the back on (it stays on this time).When it goes off, two buttons on the motherboard stays on. And my computer screen wont show. Thanks so much for the help.


    I am running:
    ASUS P8-V68 Pro motherboard
    NZXT Phantom Case
    Intel Core i7 2600k processor
    Raidmax 850 watt power supply
    XFX Radeon HD 6950 Graphics card
    LG 23" moniter by vga or hdmi

    Did you plug in the 6 or 8 pin 12v AUX cable from the power supply to the motherboard near the CPU socket? Did you use standoffs under the motherboard to the case?

    Thanks. i fixed it. it was just a simple ram card problem

    Bad ram. Once i got them exchanged it worked fine.
