Virtual memory/pagefile mishap/problem

I was doing a little house cleaning, removing files, useless or unused programs etc. I have an 80gig drive that has about 67 gigs used. I turned off my virtual memory and ran defrag. Afterwards I went to turn VM back on and got an error message:

C++ runtime error
(something like problem loading)mmc.exe

Sorry, not at that computer so this is from my memory which is faulty as well.

Has anyone experienced this? How can I recreate my paging file/vm?

Any thoughts appreciated.

Hmm.. Did you happen to uninstall .NET framework 2.0? Maybe put it back..

You can also download and reinstall MMC itself.
