Hello there,
I'm a bit of a newbie, I've run into...somewhat of a problem. I recently allowed one of my mates to use computer and he might have DL'd a virus.
I opened my task manager and saw that I was running high on CPU usage (97% with only my web browser open). I also am unable to open Avast, malware bytes, norton etc, nor can I download any new virus programs that might help such as programs that creat random shortcuts and names for malware bytes. When I try I am rewarded with the error
"C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exe
A thread could not be created for the service"
I get similar messages for the other anti-virus programs.
My disc cleanup is hidden from me, could not find it. So are my temporary internet files, I also cannot perform administrative functions such as
"show all processes for all users" function on my task manager.
My PC-illin said that one of my temporary internet files is corrupted.
Since I cannot access my Virus protection, any help would be amazing! ^_^;
Best regards,
Akairos
