Inactive Virus won't allow virus checkers to run

Hi,

I currently have a very bad virus on my computer which wont allow any virus checkers, malware searchers or registery searchers to run. Ive also tried online virus checkers and it will not allow any downloads and causes firefox to crash. When I try to use a virus checker it does not load, and when i use MalwareBytes it says "enumerating registery objects prior to scan" and then closes. And once i try to open it back it up it says i have lost permission to use it. I have also tried to use the virus scan on Avira Rescue CD but it scans to around 15000 then shuts down.

Can anybody help me?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.
I have downloaded and installed Avira Free. But once i try to do a full system scan it comes up with a message saying "The application module C:\Program Files\Avira|AntiVir Desktop\avscan.exe cannot be found or has been modified or destroyed. The AVADMIN.EXE cannot be started. Please check your installation!" So i reinstalled and have encounted the problem again.

Hi,

Like i said in my first post MBAM doesn't work. It says "enumerating registery objects prior to scan" then just closes.
Should I still go onto the next step?
