Vista and my Flash Drive

About a year ago I bought a 2gb sandisk u3 cruzer flash drive. After a while I removed the launchpad program that came on it, in order to have more space. I put it on my vista machine and decided that I wanted to reinstall the launchpad. Part of installing the program involves reformating the drive. What I didn't notice was that the capacity was set at 512kb. Every time I try to reformat it now, the only capacity option is 512kb. How do I make it 2gb again?

EDIT: I plugged it into an xp machine and it won't format it above 512kb either.

I don't mean to tripple post but nobody has any idea? Its been days.

Talk to SanDisc. They have a tech support site.
Or buy a new one at Office Max. They are $12 in Tucson today for 2GB... although I recommend almost any other brand than SanDisc.
