WD 2TB Caviar Green help

  1. I ran GSMSART control scan to check if my dirve was ok and I completed the extended self test after 4 hours I got COMPLETED WITH READ FAILURE 90%, what does that mean?

    SMART Status has not been tripped... You're showing some "bad" sectors, but you may be able to return the drive to a useful status by performing a low-level format or all 0's write of the drive. Were you having problems with the drive before this test?

    well yeah, i ran this test because my drive was not showing up in windows. so it has bad sectors? wouldn't diskcheck fix that?

    Go to Western Digital's website:
    WD's Downloads

    Select your type hard drive and download their diagnostic software. Run it...

    I ran the quick test and passed it. When I ran the extended test I received a error. I have backed up my drive so the data is not a issue.
    This is the LOG for the extended test:
