Weekend game deals: Halloween madness

I'd snatch L4D2 up in a heartbeat if I could just get the uncensored version :/ Australia's censoring of it is .... horrible to say the least

I remember Techspot reporting on the Australia censorship stuff... that's a real bummer.
You should figure out some kinda proxy for buying the US version.

Great deals! I am getting L4D. 'Tis the season I say... Holloween then Thanksgiving and then X-Mas... I I just love this time of the year as everyone is in the mood to give good deals, sales and giveaways!

This is how you keep people from pirating game (IMO) Who can't afford $10 or less for a game!

That is a great point. Make a lot of the things people pirate a reasonable price and I guarantee there will be more sales. However I do also understand that people dedicate a lot of time and money into making games/movies/music, and those costs need to be recovered, but i'd certainly think they would make up for it in quantity of sales at the lower price, versus fewer sales at a higher price.

Nice discounts although if the discounts were launched some days earlier then the game might have been received at Haloween. I recommend Bioshock.

Most of those titles being sold for less than $10 are a steal, let alone a bundle for that price, if you haven't got the games already of course.

Great sale indeed, to bad I own most of those games already =D.

But I'll throw in my recommendation for a few not so obvious games. First one being Sins of a Solar Empire, this is an amazing Space 4X/RTS game that no fan of the genre should miss. Especially if you're into Star Wars or Star Trek this game has some great community based mods that you wont be able to set down.

I'd also say that the original Warhammer 40K Dawn of War + expansions is a must try for RTS fans. This isn't your typical resource gathering game either since your offensive army is the one who gathers resources by taking control points. A lot of factions & fun especially if you enjoy RTS games.

Great deals just be sure not to waste the money on the wrong game just because they are cheap just read a few reviews & a few screenies/gameplayvideos then buy em if you like it.Just don't buy em in a hurry just because they are cheap.

Pretty decent deals on that list. Some of the games are my favorite games of all time. TF2 and L4D2 are really good games.

Steam is excellent. Always liked it. Still puts pressure on the wallet but its alot better than being a 100% pirate.

I would recommend any source game. Valve like to throw quite a few updates and free DLCs at them.
I agree. These prices make me want to buy games and not download pirated versions.

I love how you get these amazing sales (some of which are on fairly recently released games) and in retail you're lucky if a game ever goes on sale or you get the occasional one on clearance.

Some of the prices are really good, at least half off on most of the games is nice, but what I'm really looking foreward to is black friday and cyber monday, Steam for sure is gonna have some sweet deals

Wow, many great games for a such nice price! That's awesome!
For the ones willing to buy some of those, I really recommend Amnesia. Really creepy game. One of the best horror games I've ever played!

Wow! Very low prices for many good, quality titles. This almost makes me want to start playing games excessively again.

After purchasing Stalker: Call of Pripyate on steam and finding out you can't mod it.. I'm very wary about what games I buy on there. Valve games are cool of course.
