Weekend Open Forum: How powerful is your PSU?

Currently using an Antec NEO ECO 620W PSU for my primary machine, my other system uses a PC Power and Cooling Silencer 370W PSU and a couple generic brands for my older PCs.

My main Dell has its original PSU that I still need to upgrade... Its a lowly 300w or thereabouts, and most likely thats an over-estimate! :haha:

I'm looking to get a 700w+ PSU when I can eventually afford it. :(

My other Dell quad core now has a Corsair 400w PSU, which is absolutely ample for a Q8200, 2GB DDR2, GT220 GPU etc.

How can I vote, mine is 1000W but there's no 1000W in the selection.

"900-999W" you can't find 1000W in this range.

"Over 1000W" is obviously not equal to 1000W.

lol Ironically I had 1000W+ initially but opted for "Over 1000W" as it was stylistically similar to "Under 399W". For whatever reason "<399W" wouldn't work as an option. I've updated the poll (you might have to clear your cookies to see it). Thanks for the note :).

I've got a 850W Zalman ZM850-HP PSU. Had it since it came out and it's still faultless and going strong, quiet and cool.

Not very powerfull (550W) but she does what i need...plus i've been through 2 brand new PSU's while i've had this one....Shes a good worker are bessy ..lol

Using a PC Power & Cooling PPCS500 500W

I use HardOCP as my main reference for PSU reviews. If you guys are going to start reviewing PSU's, I'd like to see a similar in depth testing methodology. It'd be really nice to see more high quality PSU reviews.

I use a Silver Power 600 W, heavily modified though. Red fans, other casing and connectors soldered on (cheaper than buying extensions).

Corsair 850 watt.

It's not modular and the extra cords take up too much space. But it's on the bottom of a haf 932 so it doesn't matter at all.

I put in that very request last week Panic, I was told that they don't have the load tester to do it, and didn't think that it held much interest for most.

I like HardOCP as well, johnny guru is good as well.

Corsair 550W PSU, but then again ...... I don't need much power to run this setup

@red
I've been drooling over HAF 932 for a while now, but well it will be a shame to put this stupid little mATX board I am stuck with atm (since my original motherboard along with its replacement died) ..... so may be I get it once I upgrade this rig next year. By the way ...... its big and black ..... and if you fit couple of machine guns and a rocket launcher on it it may look even more cooler ;)

800W dont know the brand.... its not any recognize one anyways... i think is not that reliable so i focus on think that i have a 650 PSU, becouse only the recognize brand give you "real" wattages.

I've got a Corsair HX750w. Very good power supply, feels and looks well built and it's very quiet and stable.

If I get enough money after Christmas I'll have a look at getting another GTX 470 as long as the price comes down a bit.

Before a flood fried my beloved PC yesterday morning, I have a dead 3 year old PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750. Recommendations?

Rocking out a HX850, previously supply was a TX750, modular is so much win, not like I could hide the wires of the TX
