Exactly, I want to go to bed after finishing whatever needs to be done during the day, but I also want to game...
Thankfully I don't have that much money to spend on games, so I don't have that many to waste time on, lol :)

MW2 was the worst for me... It was released in the last year of my secondary school and I spent over a 1,000 hours on it. Clan wars and playing with friends was a big argument
At that time MW2 > Exams
now I kinda regret that, but it was a hell of a lot fun

Civ and the Hearts of Iron series have been long time companions in terms of cracking out. I'll usually fire one of them up when I'm going to go into a long session of watching some shows or movies.
  4. Um, not computer... bridge with cards and real people...2 bottles of scotch...42 hours straight...finally broke up to go to Monday morning classes...felt like chopped liver someone had spread on a sidewalk in Manhattan in mid-summer in front of Grand Central.

I used to play a lot more. (FF 1-9 were favorites, and GTA series)
I still buy the blockbusters when they come out, even though i never play most of them.
    Oh well...collection looks nice.

    Lately i've been modding Minecraft.
    Huge community.
Seems to be getting me good at java language. Little SQL work too.
Even got to build a dedicated blade server for it! :)

Uhg FFXI spent 7 years pretty much non stop except for RL like work ect. I take breaks for months at a time tho. Worst gaming habit for me would be the whole NOT EATTING. Especially with MMORPG's! Live gaming is like going fishing. You either stay with the fishing pole and catch the fish or step away and risk loosing the fish.

My worst... well OGame was the definitive worst gaming habit I've had, after that WoW, and now buying games on steam sales that I don't play... compulsive buyer here.

I quit playing computer games, when I would come home from work, sit down at the computer and the next thing you knew, it was after midnight! Nothing got done between the end of work and going to bed. All they did was suck up 3-5 hours a day of my time.

Anyway, the one I'm a little ashamed to admit is spending dozens of hours on Faerie Solitaire. My longest session ever was about 17 hours on Heroes of Might & Magic III. But I'm don't feel particularly guilty about playing games.

I do have tons of games I buy and don't play, as someone said here, but I always tell myself that when the kids grow up I'll have more time. Probably kidding myself.

Back when I just getting started with PC gaming, I used to spend 4-5 hours a day playing Doom and Doom 2. I also spent so much time playing Call of Duty that I eventually finished the game with a Logitech mouse whose teflon feet were so badly battered that I had a hard time aiming at the bad guys. I was so intent on playing that I didn't feel like getting up to look for another mouse. Nowadays, I have more games than I have time to play them with most still in their shrink wrapped covers. Another bad gaming habit I guess.

Haha, I couldn't get enough of Contra on NES when I was little. Those were the days. In fact, I played Contra using an emulator on my pc about 3 months ago lol. On PS1 the games I played the most were: Megaman Legends, Alundra, Tomb Raider and Final Fantasy Vlll (one of the discs were damaged, so I couldn't finish the game though :( )

    637 hours on Castlevania H.D.
  16. I used to play an MMORPG named RF Online. It was a very good MMO with lots of PVP. I got hooked with the PVP experience since my character was the strongest in the guild even though I am not at max level. We've been wreaking havoc all day making farming and levelling spots killing fields. I used to call in sick at work just to play and participate on the chip/race wars since it really made some difference when I am there. After I reached max level, I decided to quit since I was already overspending.

My biggest mistake was trying to farm trash in World of Warcraft like they did in "Make love not Warcraft" to level instead of questing... Took me forever to level that toon although it was a fun time.
  18. Reloading after nearly every kill is one of my worst FPS habits. Hundreds, if not thousands of hours playing shooters and I still haven't kicked the habit.

Played Aion since its release up until december last year (so a bit over 2 years), but spending a LOT of time on that game. Like getting in from work and logging on and playing till I go to sleep, and clocking up some serious weekend hours too. Xfire has my logged hours but I can't access that on my work PC, but it would be in the thousands. Now I don't play it anymore I look back at it and think what a grindy korean piece of crap.

Unfortunately what weaned me off it is Star Wars ToR, so I've just hopped from one MMO to the other, and am spending just as much time on SW as I did on Aion! I guess the good thing is the PvP is better in SW and its 100 times less grindy, and doesnt strictly demand the same time investment.

Long story short.. MMOs are dangerous haha.

I was hooked on Counter-Strike from Beta 6.1 to Version 2.0. Then it was Diablo 2 for several years, buying merchandise and everything. Then it was MW 1/2/3, but I am mostly proud of all of it versus ashamed.
