What does your desktop look like?

Blind Dragon - that wallpaper would actually be pretty much perfect if it were a bit bigger. Know where I could get a higher resolution version of it? I don't like to stretch my wallpapers and I'm even anal enough to try to get pngs over jpgs if possible.

Not sure if this works but I just resized it - i think the forum is converting it down

That's 800x600 and not original (ie its got all your Vista stuff on it)
Ideally the original location of the pic would be better

Small update of Lappy486 running in Ubuntu with some good wobbly window action going on.

You know LNCPapa, you can put all those Game shortcuts in one folder
It's pretty hard to actually see your Desktop, with all those icons on it :p

Woosh, my ASUS EEE PC ( xandros OS ) desktop... Temporary, until I can get an external dvd rom drive to install WinXP or Win7 ^~ Yes all my wallpaper have a similar theme, and I designed it of course cept the anime girl ;p

My desktop usually has almost no icons on it - but seeing as how this machine is used only for gaming and bluray burning I decided to stick it all out in the open so that I can respond to a whim quickly before the feeling passes.

Actually in Xp, you can just right click anywhere on your Desktop and hide the Desktop icons (a nifty feature)
Not sure if Windows 7 has that as well. Actually I still have not even looked at it yet - but that's for another thread

In line with this thread - I usually have the newest photos of my kids as a Desktop background, and change when a new scenic picture is taken :) So a little difficult for me to upload here ;)

Our desktop consists of a photograph, which we change from week to week. The trouble is my partner has a fettish for taking pictures of me in the nude and invariably posts one of these as the desktop picture! I get my own back and post one of him though! That aside the pics are mostly decent pictures of where we have been or done. I would love to fool around with colours via Display but my partner has to have Windows Classic and it's his computer.

I'm still running good old XP :) I used 7 for a while, but got tired of the countless permission problems. Sorry for the big pic, IDK how to use thumbnails =S

Hahaha... 2 of my 3 computers look EXACTLY LIKE 90% OF COMPUTERS NOWADAYS!! Generic boring black boxes with "fancy" LED power buttons. Third one is an "Old computer gray" square box. Nothing flashy here.

A desktop screenshot, not a picture of your physical computer. So pretty much what nearly everyone in the tons of pages of this thread did when they linked a pic. You are kind of off to a rough start around here spikester.

Why, It's as Pretty as a Picture...........

Well thank goodness I have a degree in photography, that will enable me to balance the exposure, so that I can show the case of my Emachine "in it's best light", while maintaining the beautiful blue glow of the power button. ;)

Can I photograph the back of my case, or would that be considered computer porn?

Did somebody start our annual, "Computer Special Olympics" event without inviting me, (again)?:haha:

desktop all look like desktop. Its all in the specs. So get in to the specs not the pics.
Not only that spikester, but if you turn them upside down they all look alike.
