I am about to build my new system and for the first time I will be using an SSD (128 megs). I know to install the OS but what about security software as well?

Anything else? I will also have a 1TB hard drive as well for storage.

Thanks.

I don't have a lot of programs that I use on a regular basis, so those would go on for me. Fast program startup is nice. Aside from that, I'd personally have nothing else that I access much at all really.
In general though, choose things that you access often.

Only 128 megs... you should be able to install DOS on that (y)

Assuming you meant 128GB, you can pretty much install all your programs on there. Move your documents, pictures, music etc. to the HDD as they don't get any benefit from being on an SSD, but programs and applications definitely will. You can also install some games on the SSD for improved load time, but games nowadays take up huge amounts of space so just install the ones you play the most.

I agree with slh28.
If it's 128 megs you mean, you can probably only install Linux there, which I assume you don't want. But newer games, which require high performance, are hardly a size that low.
