Rik, I hope you are more of a TechSpot Evangelist (by your title) than a Howard evangelist.

I'm already past of what happened and it took me some effort to manually recover the (partial) threads from our backups. I did not remove the Howard signature but I had to post with my own username because, well, that's how the forum works. I did not want to bother hacking the database info further.

Please refrain from posting further comments, there is no more discussion to be made on the matter. We (TechSpot) did nothing wrong, perhaps we were just too naive and let one of our most regarded users take control of content that did not belong to him. End of story.
