What's your favorite song?

Mine would be "I Want to Be Rich" or "Don't Worry, Be Happy!" Not good with band names so I have no idea as to who did either. But I like their themes!

Favorite Song --> Lynyrd Skynyrd - Free Bird (long version)....The best driving song ever :)

Favorite Band --> Queen

Others --> Led Zepplin, Thin Lizzy, The Who, Deep Purple, ELO, The Police, Guns 'n' Roses, The Doors......Oh, and some Vengaboys

Deliver Us From Evil by Bullet For My Valentine is my favorite song of all time. My current favorite band is August Burns Red.

My favorites songs are:
Mocking Bird by Eminem,
Poker Face by Lady Gaga,
Ring My Bells by Enrique Iglesias,
Stereo Love by Edward Maya,
Hotel Room Service by Pitbull..

Couldn't decide on a favourite song but one would be Tears Don't Fall by Bullet For My Valentine

Some of my favourite bands are: Slipknot, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, BFMV, Coheed and Cambria, Dir En Grey, Mad Capsule Markets, Metallica.

Right now,you can't tell I'm old because you can't see me. After you read my choices you'll know for sure :haha
First off it's a tie between Rolling Stones Gimme Shelter and Jethro Tull Locomotive Breath. I also like I Don't know how to Love Him by Helen Reddy. Heres one I bet you youngins never heard of circa Late 50s early 60s The Showmen It will stand (rock and roll will stand) I'm going over to youtube right now to listen to it. Anybody want to join me? CB

Wow I enjoyed that. How about you? I found 4 more favorites. What can I say? When your as old as I am,(64) it's hard to pin it down to one song.
The Edsels Rama Lama Ding Dong. Lloyd Williams Shama Lama Ding Dong. The Isley Brothers. Shout and Jackie Wilson Lonely Teardrops.
I'll try to keep it down to these 8 songs that I really really like. Unless I run across some that I really really really like..

No thanks, we had a thread like that some years ago. That kind of threads are basically only for increasing post count.

If others want to see to what you're listening, read Didou's earlier post again and join our group.

Not judging just curious Are you saying that everyone that posted on this Thread did it to increase their post count? Nobody did it just because they thought it would be fun to share favorite songs?
Did you post here to increase your Post count?:suspiciou

Karma Police by Radiohead

One of the better tracks on Ok Computer, like "Exit Music (for a film)" too. Overall though I prefer their sound on "The Bends".

Favorite at the moment has to be "That Golden Rule" - Biffy Clyro : Only Revolutions(Scottish band ftw :) ). And "Born On A Horse" is a great track as well... Have to admit I've been listening to the whole album a lot since I bought it.

All time fav has to be "Under The Bridge" by RHCP. Loved it when I first heard it, loved it more while learning bass guitar, still love it.

My favourite song is Led Zeppelin's cover of "Babe I wanna leave you"

..that is unless you accept chip tunes, where my favourite song would be the gameplay music to a game called Dynamix on the C64.

Motörhead - The thousand names of God.

Ah man! Lemmy's voice is incredible. It kinda reminds me of paper being torn slowly, but turned into a singing voice. Great song too. Has Motorhead's music ever been used in any games? If so, I'd be interested to know, because Motorhead are such a great band that I don't have a problem with their music being used in games.

I'd imagine it on a game like Road Rash or Skitchin'. Dya remember Skitchin on the Megadrive? You stepped into a pair of roller blades and raced against other roller bladers, hanging on to car bumpers for speed, avoiding the fuzz and beating each other up whilst using roadworks as ramps for air stunts.

Sure, its completely dated by today's standards, but skitchin would be an incredible addition to a game like Grand Theft Auto, or one of those types of games. Some great times were spent playing it, and the poor sound on the Megadrive isn't an issue when there are great bands like Motorhead to listen to in the background.

Awesome game.

It's a good song I like it. Now for something that will probably surprise you. I'm 65 years old. I know I'm supposed to be an old fogy by now. But, I just can't do it.
Except, that is, when it comes to Rap and Hip Hop. Glad it wasn't around when I was a teenager. Would have ruined music for generations.

Jeez, this thread is old. But it's a surefire subject -- and, in many ways, it's always be brand spanking new and fresh.

My favorite song, for now, however, is an oldie. I'm going to say "Like a Rolling Stone". Bob Dylan.
