as far as instrumentals go, has anyone heard that one from Bering Strait...the young Russian band??? Can't think of the name of the cd or the song title. Its very very good though!

Well I can't find a link to a video of the song, but here's a link to the lyrics of Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlisle. BOB

If you have a daughter, it's a very touching song.

    Cheers.

    Bush - Glycerine

Glycerine is a chemical used in perfumes and medicines and also to preserve food. The title comes from the explosive applications of glycerine to stabilize nitro: in an interview Rossdale said the song was about how love was like a bomb.

Download it or something, legally of course *cough*.
I tried to find a stream but none worked.

See if anyone can beat this for obscurity, one of my all time favourite songs is Waiting Room by Fugazi.
If anyone can come up with the name of the album that song is from (without using a search engine of any sort) i will be seriously impressed,

I believe the album was called 13 songs. It was the first track. ;)

100% spot on, how on earth did you know that. I am seriously impressed indeed.

Because I have the album. Originally it was on the self titled Fugazi EP.

I also have the Steady diet of nothing album too.

    Regards Howard :)

Whenever I hear "The Light Will Stay On" by The Walkabouts, it makes me think of a good friend of mine who passed away. I don't know if that's "soul-lifting", but the song definitely has meaning to me.
