Why is M.E. so unpopular ???

    I had great luck with ME. Still use it on 2 computers at work. Yes the transition away from dos and some driver conflicts made for some head scratching. I have found that if you installed over win98 / 95 you were begging for trouble. It had to be installed clean. I remember having a devil of a time upgrading some win95 machines to win98. If it wasn't this way it wouldn't be fun I guess.

    Windows ME is the reason I switched to Linux as my primary OS.

    Linux is the reason I don't have an M.E. install CD... that and a shotgun... PULL!! BLAM!!

    I heard that you can install both Windows aaaand Lindows (Linux based ???) on the same hard drive. Is this true?

    And the real question...Is Lindows really a real OperatingSystem?
    I saw a demo on a sight once...It actually looked pretty decent...but it wasn't able to handle many Windows based Apps, if I remember right.

    But the cost was only like $12...(could've been a sale, I don't remember.)
