Win32/Heur bad infection

hello everybody...got a nasty win32/heur infection...formatted the computer and reinstalled everything 4 times but it's getting back...I have all my backup on external hard drive and had it scanned with AVG 8 and spyware doctor and they say it is clean...could I be carrying the virus on my external drive?...how can i find it?...also when I was reinstalling windows in the window where you set the partitions there was every time a 8mb partition allready made?...please help...

Instead of formatting, next time remove the partition(s) only

* Warning deleting the Partition will remove all User data and Windows system files

You are also best to uninstall AVG8 and Spyware Doctor
Preference given to free Avira Antivirus and Malwarebytes
Then scan your external drive

Make sure to do this first

Uninstall your AVG Antivirus
Then run the removal tool

avira is great...allready found several threates on my external drive...

I agree, I use Avira free Antivirus as well
