Inactive Win32/toolbar.widgi variant found on startup

Hi, I run eset antivirus and iobit malware. After I do a scan on both no viruses or malware come up.

However , every once in a while, when starting my pc eset detects a win32/toolbar.widgi variant which I delete. after a couple of days it is detected again.

Is this something I should be worried about or if I just keep deleting it every time it happens I should be ok?

thanks

Hi Broni,

Thanks for the reply.. Before I do all the steps I was just wondering.. Could you tell me whether it is something that definitely need to remove or is it ok if I leave it like this?

I am asking because :

a. It is only found occasionally on my start up
b. It isnt detected when I run an antivirus or a malware scan.

Thanks
