Windows 7, Has corrupted file Won't Boot. Corrupt boot file

HELP!

I have a HP 6230. I can not start up windows. The Windows repair and Hp recovery manager keep running with no results...that help. It says there is a corrupt file: D:\Windows\system32\drivers\ACPI.sys is corrupt. I tried running both RM and W repair with no avail. Tried safe mode, system restore, debugging and image. No help. Any hints or recommendations?

Thanks. I did a system recovery. Thanks goodness HP offers a back up program for the files. But, it takes forever!
