WOF: Do you know what your CPU's clocked at?

There is no way I'm the only one who gets 5Ghz in techspot. I expected more JigaHurtz from the people who visits this site..

100 x 50 = 5Ghz

All default BIOS setting except multiplier adjusted from 34 to 50

CPU > 2600k
Mobo > Asus P8P67

This thread just happened to come along as I was tinkering with my new Phenom 1100T. Looks like at least for now it'll be 4GHz flat for the 24/7 overclock, 4.2 is still crashing to the desktop under load. BTW, hardly any of my Bios settings are at default values ;)

No your not the only that gets 5 ghz, your the only silly enough to run 5 ghz 24/7 with what i assume is a voltage is around 1.45v or more.

Check in here in 6 months / a year and let us know how your cpu is doing ^^

Athlon X3 425 @3 Ghz with stock voltage and cooling.
altough right know @ 894 Mhz due to CnQ.

2400k i5, got new cooling system
with the msi top quality and stability mainboard
can reach 5.1GHZ and above (not that stable if i go above 5GHZ)
but still works

you make me laugh with this post there is no 2400k cpu and there is no way your getting 5.2 ghz out of it.

If my CPU burns in 6 months that means I have the excuse to get Ivy Bridge or the Bulldozer!

Life is good!

I take a different approach to upgrades..but that works :)

From one Guest to another.

Stock speed of the Sandy K chips so far.

i5 2500k = 3.3 ghz / 3.7 ghz turbo
i5 2600K = 3.4 ghz / 3.8 ghz turbo

Both chips easy do 4.8 ghz even with a shitty batch.

I dont notice any diffrence in any games, and i never go above 40c during load. (NH-D14)

ASUS doesn't quite agree with you - http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1578110&highlight=p8p67

Never above 40C during load? Do you live in the arctics?

Agree to disagree...

Every new Android phone that comes out, one of the first 4 specs
that gets mentioned is the speed and number of cores of the CPU.

This will probably happen for every new evolution of tech that is
limited by (whatever).
