WoW Patches with Vista... please help

Hi, i recently bought a new pc with a vista OS and when the patches begin to install on wow it says your computer appears to be behind a firewall, I have AVG as my antivirus and i cant figure out how to change the ports on AVG, I was wondering if it could also be my internet connection please help i dont know what to do.
