WP7 Game Boy Pocket emulator now named Wario's Jewels

  1. The Windows Phone 7 Game Boy Pocket emulator that we first saw last month has been christened Wario's Jewels. The emulator is still nowhere near completion, but it has received a few notable improvements, according to its French creator, Samuel Blanchard.

  2. yuck. WP7 can't run any better emu than that? Game Boy? I would have assumed it could run up to a N64 emu or something. At least a SNES emu or Genesis emu. Game Boy? Eww. Nasty gfx and games.

    There's an NES emulator for WP7 as well. The issue isn't whether it can run the stuff or not. It's an issue of getting people to create the emulators, which they are, just slowly.

    So why would anyone pick this OS up rather than Android or Jailbroken iOS again?
