Got the Dark Knight cooler to use with my AMD Phenom 955 and it looks like it may cover 1 or more ram slots on my motherboard so I'm looking for a solution to be able to mount the cooler vertically instead.

I've checked a few other sites and some are claiming that this bracket may work..
(I was going to post a url here but I can't post links yet lol. The bracket's on FrozenCPU.com and it's called "Prolimatech AM2 / AM2+ / AM3 Megahalem Retention Mount Adapter Kit (ARM-01)"

    Thanks in advance.

The bottom-most fin of the Xigmatek Dark Knight is 35mm above the base. So you'll have to check your RAM module height. Can't you mount the HSF after putting in your RAM?

That's what I had to do for my Vendetta 2. The RAM sits underneath the HSF with enough clearance. Check that first and then get a retention bracket if it doesn't work.

I actually had to get ram without a heatsink so it could fit under the HSF. Airflow might be better if I could mount the HSF vertically and I could also have a little more options with ram. But it does work now with this setup so I'm not complaining
