Solved xVidly Removal

That's not right.
I can see Free Download Manager listed in "Programs & Features".
See if you can uninstall it.
 
Ok I uninstalled it with no problems; I will probably put off the remaining few steps until the morning as it is very late here, but right now it looks as though everything is on track to be back to normal; this has been absolutely great.
