Somehow I've never posted my temps before.

    Okay, they've been updated.

If your temps aren't in here, please post in the required format. I will update the temps on the first page if someone else will compile all those who didn't put it in the format, to the required format, at any page (especially if they tell me that they've done so).

The format, as copied from the first page:

I do realise that coretemp and prime95 may be outdated, but given that this list isn't standardized in any other way (other than posting format), and that it is just as a rough guide anyway, use ANY temperature sensor and CPU stressing program you like. Not like we checked to make sure you did....

One more thing, there is a maximum character per post, so I'll mention that when that happens, I'll move "outdated" CPUs to my next post in this thread (I will of course link it, and make a mention in the first post).

    (Just a repost)

    core i7 920 Lapped @ 4.0/Noctua NH-U12P Lapped Push Pull/1.329v/43c/78c - Adhmuz

Had to increase my volts to maintain stability, lapping didn't help as much as I first thought. It seems over time my idle temperature starts to increase and my 100% load gets worse too. Initial results after lapping seemed very promising but now its back to what it was before...

You lapped both the CPU and the heatsink? Wait, you did say you did.

You do realise that by increasing the voltage, your temps should increase as well. Thats probably why your load temps are similar to those that you posted before lapping.

Actually my volts were increased before the lapping, and my temps Im referring to are on the higher volt setting. I was hoping to get my temps back to what they were on the lower volts. Oh well looks like Ill need to go with liquid cooling.

Hmm... maybe your lapping needs a flat surface :D

Thats probably the only reason stopping me from lapping all my stuff right now.... I need a flat surface, and I'm too cheap to go out and buy a good piece of glass.....

    Btw, numbers updated

I used a Half inch thick piece of glass and a glass table, no worries I used a flat surface.

I recently cleaned my fan and established a better OC.

I will let you know when I have new details.

Got 2 for you, from various stages of my overclocking:

    Core i7 920 @3491 MHz/ThermalTake SpinQ/1.044v/41c/66c
    Core i7 920 @3912 MHz/ThermalTake SpinQ/1.293v/57c/88c

Not too bad. 88c is a little high, but the threshold on i7s is 100c so it's not really that bad.

EDIT: How is this not a sticky yet after 3 years?

I think its because I'd have to continually update this thread. Which I obviously don't do on a daily/weekly basis. Its more.... quarterly, and in some cases, yearly XD

If more people post, I might update more regularly.....

    Core i7 920 D0 stepping @4500mhz/swiftech gtz/1.41v/38c/59c/feser xchanger 360

I did lap the block and cpu using 500 moving my way to 2000 grit sand paper and my wrist still hurts.

Oh i see my specs on the first page are almost identical to what i posted here no change needed/added I guess.

    Damn you rich folks :p

I'm getting my Phenom II x4 rig this December :D - The Dual core I posted is good still, but I want x4 powa :D and extreme cooling with that.

Mobile Intel Pentium Dual-Core (Merom-2M)@1.6/stock/stock(=1.2500v)/67c/68c this is with a 60% load
i know its hot but this is a three year old system that i am going to replace soon

    Update:
New fan, different case and higher overclock.

    P4_2.40B@2.808Ghz/Scythe Zipang SCZP-1000/1.575/35/52

The load temp is the highest temp recorded during 40min Linpack stress.

Finally, the case temp is at 33-35C and the HDD temps are at 35-38C, even at max CPU or HDD stress!

AMD Phenom X4B50 @3,4GHZ @ 1,3v with the air con keeping the room temperature at about 20 degrees C,idles about 26\27 after prime (39)
HDD's ranging between 24 to 26 all seagate with the 1TB drive doing Defraggler it's sitting at 25.
GPU's idling about 30 max i have seen recorded is about 57 while running furmark 1,8 with prime
    Northbridge @ 32 after prime (38)
    Southbridge @ 31 after prime (37)
Ram at about 30 after prime (39)
PSU about 32 after prime (38)
most of those temps i am getting while running Prime95 64bit.

Using PC probe to get cpu temps and HWmonitor to get the rest.

Ran prime for 2hrs and 25 minutes with furmark 1,80 so i was stressing just about everything.

33c idle in the winter. Its currently early summer.

Current house temp 77f, this might matter.

My side 255mm fan that came with the case is not working atm, my front fan also came with the case and is working. My back fan is a high rpm 120mm fan. Case and further specs are in my specs.
