Whois the tipstir?

My handle or screen name as been used since the CB (citizen band radio), then on BBS, Prodigy GAOL = GEO AOL, then DOS AOL, then Win AOL migrated over to the net in GAN 1991 so really since 1995 the name tipstir has come into play where I mostly help users like you here with solving your problems in both desktop, laptop, workstation, server, printers and networking in chat rooms and now in forums all over the world.

The avitar image you see to your left comes from a design I created during the 1991 based on GIGANTOR one of my favorite cartoons: Which I use as a trademark to my 60 Games Titles I use to create for children and miltary adults. WAS -Windows Arcade Series and Tracker Games more simulator games.



During the 1991 thru 2000 I've designed creative Windows Arcade Games and use AOL as conduit to access the internet.

Since 2004 I mostly program and create skin mods and mini utilities for GBPVR. Today I do skin mods for HAU MediaMVP and might do MediaPortal, CTPVR, and SAGETV as I am very busy now..

I write technical and reviews on software and hardware on epinions to help you the user out on what to get. So I see myself with a creative mind and a good heart. Just google my screen name you'll learn a lot about the tipstir me

My real name is Chris. however it's useless trying to come up with any user names with the word chris in it because everything has already been taken (and I refuse to add random numbers )

so I used my cat's name instead; Cody. I don't really know where the "king" came from, I guess it just sounded cool at the time

fr3ddi30 - my names freddie and i just put in 3's like a hackorRr and when i 1st used it to sign up to runescape when i was like 13 it wasnt didnt allow fr3ddi3 so i added an 0, now it sounds italian or something, kl kl. i also use CRUSHGROOVE48 coz crushgroove is just totally random and 48 is my favourite number!!!!

Violent anger of course.

Hi, just thought it might be interesting to explain why peopele chose the names they use on TS.

I will start off by saying i chose Rik as my name is Richard and because of the really old arcade machines that only let you put 3 letters in on a high score.

There must be some much more interesting stories! So lets hear them.

This isn't really interesting at all but Beef_Jerky4104 has been my alias for 5 years. I've recently abbreviated it to Beef4104, but still.

mine is fairly obviously game related. i used to play tons of Legend of Zelda games. those games were fantastic. twilight princess clinched it for me. that made link one of the most awesome characters for me.

so about 6 years ago, i wanted a screen name. naturally i wanted to put link in it...but so many other fans already had the name so i had to add all those numbers and an o to it. i make it my username just about everywhere because i've used it for so long. it's almost second nature. i could walk around and have people just call me link and i'd respond as if it were my name.

now that i'm in college i occasionally use the first letter of my real name, and then my surname as the username. just for important things that i might need to remember.

but yeah....hi. i'm a legend of zelda fan.

well mine is my name from the jewellery i make.... i usually use ap6valiant seeing we are mopar mad people but just wanted some thing a bit feminine... the full name is dragonflycreations!!!!

Well I named my self God of mana because at the time i was quite obsessed with the game Sword of mana. Everything for me was Mana.. I'm past it
and wish I could have put my real name instead of that.

I usually go by Cinder Phame, but that name is a little to fantasy orientated to work at a tech site. I thought I’d go by Cinder but that was taken, so I added an s and away I went. I also go by Texas, Texas Ranger or Tejas. Yes, I do live in Texas real close to Houston.

I was creating a Dungeons & Dragons character about twenty years ago, and I needed a name, so I came up with Sender Phame, but a few friends threatened to rip out my liver unless I changed the name to Cinder. Seeing the error of my ways I quickly changed the name and have been Cinder ever since.
