Hackers deface SCO site

SCO Group's Web site was defaced by hackers today, seemingly in protest over the company's claims to parts of Linux. "We own all your code" and "Pay us all your money" were the two slogans used to defile the site, which the hacker had put together using the SCO company colors and fonts. This attack is the latest of several to target SCO, as earlier in the year the MyDoom computer virus crippled its site, forcing SCO to use a different Web address. However, this latest attack seems to specially address the Linux issue currently unfolding.

"The latest assault was aimed at SCO's long-running campaign that seeks compensation from companies selling and using the Linux operating system. The company launched a lawsuit against IBM last year, claiming that the computing giant illegally incorporated into its Linux software some source code from the Unix operating system, for which SCO controls several patents."
