Intel will not provide CPUs for the iPhone

By Justin Mann

Despite reports otherwise, Intel is denying that they are the providing the CPUs inside the iPhone. While Apple's “Apple TV” is receiving processors from the company, Bill Kirkus of Intel made a statement to Reuters that they are not the manufacturer of the CPU inside Apple's new baby. This is directly the opposite of what an Apple Germany spokesman allegedly told Reuters yesterday. He said, she said. I'll go with Intel on this one.

If that is the case, however, who's providing the CPU inside the iPhone?
