Qualcomm loses again to Nokia

By Justin Mann

Poor Qualcomm, they just can’t seem to get a break. Nokia, in their ongoing struggles against the flailing tech company, has netted another victory in a patent dispute against them. With Qualcomm initially seeking an injunction against Nokia to prevent them from shipping phones and other products, a judge has ruled that both of Qualcomm's complaints aren't valid.

A few weeks ago, it was speculated that the two giants might come to a peaceful agreement, which may still happen later this year. Both companies have agreed to “consolidate” their fighting. It is somewhat amusing to see Qualcomm try to get injunctions against Nokia, when it was the same tactic that Broadcom used against them.
