Amazon launches Xbox Live store

The giant online retailer has launched its own Xbox Live store, where customers can use straight up cash instead of those pesky points to purchase download codes for any particular XBLA game. Those who actually like the current system can also buy Microsoft Points and Gold Subscriptions for themselves or as a gift to other people. The site is live now – in beta form – and available solely to U.S. gamers at this moment.
