Japanese videogame maker Nintendo warned on Friday it would post its first-ever interim loss for April-September due to massive foreign exchange losses and slack sales of its GameCube console.

The videogame veteran attributed its first red ink since going public in 1962 to a 40 billion yen one-off loss on its $5 billion of dollar-denominated assets and weak demand for the GameCube.

Dropping the price of the GameCube may help though, I know personally of 3 people including myself that woudln't buy it at $150 but have/will buy it at cheaper price.
