Benchmarks: Far Cry 2, Aliens vs. Predator

Far Cry 2 heavily favors Nvidia-based graphics cards, so it comes as little surprise that the GTX 580 leads the pack here – though it was only 14% faster than the GTX 480 and it edged ahead of the the Radeon HD 5970 by 3%. The Radeon HD 5870 was yet again defeated, this time by 43%.

The GeForce GTX 580 was 6% slower than the Radeon HD 5970 in Aliens vs. Predator at 2560x1600, and it commanded a whopping 39% lead over the GTX 480 while outpacing the Radeon HD 5870 by 45%.
