Benchmarks: AS SSD Benchmark
This time we measured the sequential read/write performance using AS SSD Benchmark. The OCZ RevoDrive X2 240GB was 3.1 times faster than the Vertex 2 Pro 100GB when measuring read performance and 4 times quicker in writes.
The OCZ RevoDrive X2 240GB delivered 3.3 times more performance than the Vertex 2 Pro when measuring reads, while it was 3.8x faster in writes. Again, the RevoDrive X2 performed well in this synthetic test, showing twice the performance of the Crucial RealSSD C300.
The RevoDrive X2's read access time was an impressive 0.054ms, making it the quickest of our test drives. However, its write performance slipped behind the Samsung 470 Series 256GB SSD at 0.227ms.
