Thanks to its implementation of the power-conscious Marvell 6281 processor, the QNAP TS-412 has very low consumption levels for a 4-bay NAS. Under load, the unit peaked at 28 watts, making it 22% more efficient than the Thecus N3200XXX (3-bay), which offers a similar price and performance.
