With 51fps, the WindForce 3 outpaced AMD's design by 10%, topped the flagship GeForce by 12% and fell 10% shy of the HD 7970.
The gap between overclocked and non-overclocked HD 7950s closed to only 5% when testing Just Cause 2 at 2560x1600 and Gigabyte's card slipped behind the GTX 580 for the first time in our testing -- if only by 5%. It was also 19% slower than the HD 7970.
