Benchmarks: Far Cry, UT2004
The Far Cry results are quite interesting as the non-overclocked GeForce 7300GT was faster at 1024x768 than the Radeon X1600 Pro, yet it was slightly slower at the other two resolutions. Overclocking gave the X1600 Pro a fair performance advantage, as it became 30% faster at 1280x1024. The overclocked 7300GT also struggled to deliver playable performance at 1600x1200, where as the X1600 Pro did not.
UT2004 preferred the GeForce 7300GT, awarding it with a 35% performance advantage at 1600x1200. Once overclocked the performance gap between the two cards narrowed, allowing the 7300GT to score minor victories over the X1600 Pro.
