Compaq Laptop-Cubase SX-M-Audio ASIO DRIVER PROBLEM

I have a Compaq laptop presario 960US....M-Audio Audiphile USB soundcard...Cubase SX...everytime I select in the Device Manager-M-Audio ASIO Driver...my computer crashes and says IRQL driver is not less or equal...M-Audio couldn't figure out what to do to correct this...I disabled the internal soundcard......and It still doesn't work..they say I may have an IRQ conflict..but they don't tell me what to do...would anyone here know?? Please help!!

Normally you can solve IRQ problems by right clicking on the device and then on the last tab you can set the IRQ's.

Otherwise you'll have to change it in the BIOS, that is if i'm right :) (almost never had an irq conflict)
