Hi
I recently formatted my computer and reinstalled everything, including the drivers etc for my ATI Radeon 9200 card. So far, everything else works fine, but when I launch NHL 2003, the screen goes black and the system reboots. Then I get a popup saying that windows has recovered from a serious error and asks about sending an error report etc. In the online crash analsis page, it mentions a graphics driver possibly being the problem. So, I went to ATI and downloaded all the latest drivers, mobo driver and windows updates. The only program that is not working is NHL 2003.
I disabled the system restart to get the blue screen, and this is the code:
Stop: 0x0000008e (C0000005, 81E93E22, ECF717C4, 0x00000000)
I'm running windows xp and updated everything since formatting including sp2. Please help, I'm going crazy not being able to figure this one out.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Squekythekat,
Zip 5 to 6 minidumps and attach zip file here. You can find minidumps from the folder \windows\minidump. I will study the miinidumps and find out the culprt.

Hi CPC
Thanks for your time - hope I did it right. There were lots of files there, I just selected the most recent ones. Hope you have luck with it.

Hi Squeakythekat,
The stack trace of the minidumps have the footprint of Cdfs!_except_handler3 and I believe that it is either related to cd-cdrom driver or hardware error of cdrom. What is the manufacturer and model of your CD-ROm.
