Plz Help Me,ive Read All The Posts But Why I Get Driver_irql_hot_less_or_equal

I have a MEDION
PENTIUM 4 CPU 3.066GHZ
512 RAM ,OS WINDOWSXP HE
My pc crashes at random sometimes after 10 mins,sometimes after 1hour ten mins and so on.when the BSOD comes up i get

It only crashes when im on the internet,its fine when games are played on it.
When the pc restarts and the errror reporting is done it says,
ERROR LIKELY CAUSED BY WEBSTAR CABLE MODEMDPX100
Ive tried downloading the new drivers from scientific atlantic but it keeps crashing.plz help this newcomer :o ,i need some expert advice,thx

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Two of your minidumps crash at your modem(WebSTAR.sys), and three crash at the usb driver(SACMXP1.sys).

This is a problem with either the drivers, or the modem itself.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the modem, and drivers.

If this doesn`t help, then maybe try a different modem.

thx,i wil try and reinstall the modem and drivers,if this doesnt help will i have to buy a new modem if so,can u recommend a gd one

i reinstalled the modem and drivers,and i stayed connected for about half an hour or so but then i got some other messages on the bsod,one was-
something like BUGCODE_usb_driver,ive sent some more minidumps,

could u plz have a look and tell me wot u think,thx

All your latest minidumps crash at SACMXP1.sys.

If you cannot resolve this driver issue, with any updates, then try a different modem.
