Sorry you guys probably get allot of these. I looked through some of them and it seemed they were on a case to case basis and didn’t really sound like my problem too much so I decided to make a new post.
Anyway here is my problem. I reformat regularly just to keep my pc clean and just get a fresh start. A while ago I started to get weird crashes ECT that when rebooted windows said was a device driver error. After a few days of uninstalling and updating drivers for everything I was still having the problem. I decided I needed a reformat anyway so I did so. The problem continued even after the reformat. I tried quite a few things such as that ram test program recommended in the sticky and I even went as far as upgrading my video card thinking that was the problem (not the sole reason I upgraded it but I thought it may have been the problem) so I upgraded my 9800 pro for an x800 all in wonder. The crashing continued after that as well. Let me describe the Crashes so that maybe that will help you. The reason I always figured it was the video card is the crashes only occur in computer games, and when it crashes the monitor get covered in neon like colors and I get a repeating sound loop, at this point the computer is completely frozen. After a few seconds the screen goes black and I’m pretty sure the computer is functioning because Often when I’m on Ventrillo or Teamspeak I am able to tell my friends "Hold on im crashing" and they can respond back and then I have to manually hit the power button to restart it. About 2 months ago that wasn’t the case, it just restart on its own. The recent crashes haven’t been leaving minidump files for whatever reason, but these ones are from September maybe they can shed some light. Sorry for the lengthy story but I thought maybe some background would help.
Comp Specs
Windows XP professional
P4 2.8 GHz HT enabled
Asus p4p800 e deluxe
1 gig pc3200
ati radeon x800 all in wonder
Here are some of the minidumps from September, let me know if I can run any other programs that may help this out. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello and welcome to Techspot.
All your minidumps crash at i8042prt.sys. This is the Windows keyboard/mouse driver.
It may have become corrupt.
Click start/run and type sfc /scannow into the run box. Note the space between the sfc command and the forward slash.
This will cause windows to scan it`s protected system files, and replace them as necessary. You will need to have your Windows disk in your cd drive.

Wow thanks howard. Never would I have imagined the problem to be a keyboard or mouse. Thanks a ton for your quick response. Id also like to mention I think this forum is great Im going to have to start coming here more often, most sites people simply disreguard people who need help and make fun of them and offer no help. Im running the command now and ill play some cod2 to make sure its done its thing :D
EDIT: Bad news, just tried to play a game and still got a crash, must be a different error. As I said the new crashes dont produce a minidump file because the computer doesnt restart itself, I have to press the reset button. Is there some sort of program I can run during a crash to figure out what happened?

Take a look in your event viewer. Go to your control panel, and double click on administrative tools, then the event viewer.
What psu do you have, and what is it`s wattage?

I have a 500 watt Ultra X connect, I used a PSU calculator that came up with 380 watts to run all my hardware and fans so I think Im ok on the power supply, So I should leave the event viewer running during a crash?
I just took a look through the Event Viewer and I Seem to get Warnings for a source called ati2mag about probly as often as I was crashing, Could these be the source of the crash? Thatd be my Graphics card correct?

Hi Suffix,
Your windows is crashed with double fault because the stack is overflowed. From the stack trace, I find the following pattern repeats. Finally all kernel stack is overflowed.
Thanks a ton for response cpc, I have an extra keyboard and mouse laying around I guess ill swap them out one by one and see if that stops the problem.
