I think that Nvidia could probably afford it, these graphics cards are way to expensive for the average user to afford.
It seems like the game manufactures are in bed with the hardware manufactures as it seems that every new game released requires a major hardware upgrade and consumers just can't keep up

OMG YES, i remember the day when i got ghost recon and my computer COULD run it ok. now if i got the newest game out today my 6600GT which cost me an arm and a leg would be way to slow to handle it. when ghost recon came out i had a TNT2M64 PCI btw $115 at the time.

If i win i only have to swap my board from SLI, to QUAD SLI!!!:D:D:D

This would a be a cool upgrade from my old 5900XT I have at home. Then of course I would have to upgrade the rest of the system, but I've been wanting to do that for a year now. Then I could finally get the Athlon 64 I've been looking at.

Man I would love that card. Was gonna buy one but it was either buy the 7800GT and have no computer to put it in or buy a computer with a lousy graphic card....i chose the 2nd option.
